Main Purpose of Job:
Responsible to operate and maintain all A &V Equipments with Planned and Reactive Maintenance Schedules with the cooperation Supervisor
Perform your duties to ensure high levels of service are delivered.
Maintaining a safe & efficient working environment with Electronics ,Electrical and A&V Team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Conduct daily routine and operational check for AV Equipment , Clean audio and video equipment , covering all aspects of all A&V systems including emergency repairs, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive maintenance duties.
2. Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as concerts, sports events, meetings and conventions, presentations, and news conferences.
3. Set up and operate sound equipment.Monitor sound feeds to ensure quality.
Test and resolve equipment issues.Diagnose and correct media system problems.
4. Mix sound inputs and feeds.Coordinate audio feeds with television images.
Send in equipment for repairs as needed.
Switch video input sources from one camera to another.Determine filming sequences and camera movements.
5. Maintain good communicate; conduct daily Team meetings and grooming inspections with reporting staff at the start of the shift.
6. Complete a ‘Hand-over’ process at the beginning and end of your shift. Complete a daily log of tasks/issues with updates.
7. Organise out-of-hours emergency work, as required. To immediately report any potential dangerous situations to your Supervisor/ Line Manager.
8. Deal with emergency situations in a professional manner informing Supervisor/Line Manager immediately .
9. To manage and participate in the provision of services covering a 24 hour/7 day operation.
10. Raise and monitor issues reported to Helpdesk for hard services until completion. Ensure tasks are completed within cost and target times. Make sure accurate records of actual work carried out are maintained, completing a ‘Satisfaction Survey’ for Reactive works from the Client/Customer.
11. To provide hands on support to the Facilities Management team for all mechanical and electrical tasks.
12. To immediately report any potential dangerous situations to the Supervisor/Line Manager.
13. Get involved in Project Work, Additional Works, as required.
14. Deliver the pre-planned maintenance programme as issued.
15. Support Supervisor/Line Manager in providing management information and reports with regard to the delivery of MEP services.
16. Have a positive attitude and flexible approach to work demands. Coach and direct hard services team to ensure that they carry out a professional service.
17. Apply relevant trade skills to undertaking schedules, and reactive maintenance tasks as required.
18. Required to attend training programs as necessary to meet the contract requirement and for personal development.
19. When on duty, to be accountable and responsible for own position.
20. Suggest energy saving campaigns to promote efficient use of energy utilities.
21. To prioritise all tasks and ensure they are completed within the required time scales.
22. Check Diesel Generator as per schedule and when requested by your Supervisor/Line Manager noting down the parameter during running time.
23. Responsible for maintaining updating records/reports, as required e.g. engineers/operational reports/logs/maintenance contacts/job record cards/work sheets etc.
24. Get involved in Project Work, Additional Works, as required.
25. Support and promote the Company Vision and Values, encouraging good performance with the promotion of Employee of The Month and Employee of The Year.
26. To fulfill Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety management system.
27. To support the Company's Quality Policy ISO 9001:2008 and actively participate in the achievement of Company and personal Quality objectives.
28. To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service. Any significant changes will be communicated and be provided in a revised job description.
Qualifications and Experience Criteria
1. Industrial Training Institute - Vocational training certificate in the trade of Electrician or Electronics (2 years) and should have undergone one year apprenticeship training from a major service provider.
2. Minimum of 6 years’ experience out of which 3 years’ experience from GCC.
3. Should have excellent knowledge in, Medium volt lines, Power panels ,Electronics equipments ,office equipments ,A&V Equipments, Lightening and Lighting control systems
4. Must have sound knowledge in reading and working on Electronics circutes and Lay outs. Capable of carrying out PPM Schedule and trouble shooting.
